Men T20 WC

 The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup is the seventh ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament,[3][4] with the matches occurring in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from 17 October to 14 November 2021.[5][6] The West Indies are the protecting champions.[7][8] 

There was expected to be a first 2020 T20 World Cup held in Australia from 18 October to 15 November 2020,[9][10][11] yet in July 2020, the International Cricket Council (ICC) affirmed that this competition had been deferred, because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[12][13][14] In August 2020, the ICC affirmed that India would have the 2021 competition as arranged, with Australia being named as the host for the succeeding 2022 tournament.[15] However, in June 2021, the ICC declared that the competition had been moved to the United Arab Emirates because of developing worries over the COVID-19 pandemic circumstance in India, and a potential third influx of the pandemic in the country.[16] The competition started on 17 October 2021,[5] with the competition's last planned to be played on 14 November 2021.[17] The primer rounds of the competition were played in the UAE and Oman

With an aggregate of 45 matches, the T20 World Cup will be made out of two rounds. Cycle 1 had twelve matches played between eight groups (Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, Namibia, Oman and Papua New Guinea), with the main four groups advancing to the Super 12s.[57] The Super 12s will comprise of 30 matches between the four groups from Round 1 and the best eight positioned T20I groups. Initially, if Sri Lanka or Bangladesh qualified from their first round gatherings, they would have held their particular seedings of A1 or B1 for the Super 12s.[58] However, the ICC later changed this standard, after Scotland bested Group B and advanced as B1.[59] Those groups were then parted into two gatherings of six each. This will be trailed by the two semi-finals and afterward the final.[5] On 16 July 2021, the ICC affirmed the gatherings for the tournament,[60] which were settled in the rankings of the groups starting at 20 March 2021.[61] On 17 August 2021, the ICC affirmed the last apparatuses for the competition including the first round and very 12 matches.[62]
